Location research - Digipak Planning

Our Digipak needs multiple shots on both the front and back cover of the digipak, we therefore needed to take multiple shots both in  urban and rural areas. We were planning to display the binary opposition of our CD within the pictures we take. The front cover will consist of a shot of an urban area displaying these features so we will go to Altrincham to gain these shots. On the other hand we will have shots from rural areas to show the difference between the two places. We may use some of these images for our final Digipak product but if they are not up to standard we will go to take some more pictures and learn from the mistakes we made. We need to make sure the lighting, shot angle and posing is perfect in order to gather the best possible shots.

We have taken several pictures in all of these different locations and from them we will decide which ones we will use for our final and most importantly suit our convention. Our aim was to create and urbanize the shots we used, this is why some of the ones used are in the centre of the town and some were taken down the backstreets.
