Editing Session- Feedback 1



In the video is what i have edited so far with the help of the ideas from both Jack and Luke as well as my own which i though about from last year. This was the first part of the editing which we had completed and we asked for feedback off of family members and friends to help us identify which areas could be improved. Most of the individuals which we interviewed suggested that the work on the lip syncing needed more work and we needed to use more shots to cover the parts which are not in sync. We will use the advice to our advantage as we have many shots which we can use to cover these errors and we are still trying to make sure that it includes the Britpop conventions and doesn't go off track.

Editing feedback for our final rough edit

This video shows  the specific information which we were given by our audience to help us make our music video even better, we also asked other people their opinion on our video and everyone else also suggested that we definitely need to improve the lip syncing. This is due to the fact that it is not in time and can be edited easily to make sure we change it so that it looks more professional. Besides this minor change we were given positive feedback on our music video and that they enjoyed both the introduction and ending where we included  small parts of the live performance.

Birtipop fashion and style

Kangol Bucket Hats: This particular style of hat became popular during the late 80's 'Madchester' era. They were specifically worn by Artists such as: Elton John, LL Cool J and the Gallagher brothers. Thanks to Oasis and The Stone Roses it stuck around as a Britpop staple. In 2016, the millinery still remains the perfect accessory for any festival fanatic. We can use this style of Fashion within our Music video to recreate one of the biggest fashion statements during the Britpop era. It will also show our knowledge on the fashion of the genre but also the fact that many Artists wear these styles of clothing during their Music videos. Many fishermen used to wear Bucket hats to protect from the rain whilst fishing. Many fans of the Britpop genre started to wear these in Manchester, to protect them from the rain during festivals and concerts.
